Growth & Hospitality
Founded in 1977 by T R Vasudevan Pillai, the Parthasarathy Group began its journey in Kozhencherry, a small town in the Pathanamthitta District. Starting his career as a banker in Kozhencherry, Mr. Vasudevan Pillai laid a strong foundation in the financial sector, building a trusted and respected brand over the years.
In 2009, as his son Binu V Pillai joined, the Group diversified and broadened its portfolio by venturing into the hospitality industry.
What began as Parthasarathy Tourist Home — a modest lodge in Kozhencherry — gradually evolved into a budget-friendly hotel, setting new standards for comfort and service in the region.
This transformation led to the establishment of Parthasarathy Residency, the Group’s first major hospitality venture, which soon grew into a recognized midscale budget hotel known for its warm hospitality and exceptional guest experiences.
With over 17 years of experience in the hospitality sector, we have continuously refined our commitment to quality, comfort, and personalized service. Aranmula is a heritage temple village in the Pathanamthitta district of Kerala, gracefully situated along the sacred banks of the Pamba River. The town is spiritually centred around the ancient Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna as Parthasarathy — one of the 108 Divya Desams.
Aranmula is internationally renowned for the sacred Aranmula Uthrattathi Vallamkali, a devotional river festival held during Onam. Majestic snake boats glide across the Pamba River in rhythmic harmony to traditional Vanchipattu songs — a breathtaking spectacle of devotion and cultural pride.
The town also plays a significant role in the annual Thiruvabharanam procession to Sabarimala, and is home to the renowned Aranmula Kannadi — a unique handcrafted metal mirror that reflects Kerala's exceptional craftsmanship and artistic heritage.
